ORDERING

What is an Authentic Mystery Kit?

  • An Authentic Mystery Kit is a surprise football kit package — you get a genuine, authentic jersey from a real club or national team, but the team, league, and colours are revealed only when you open the box. It's the thrill of the unboxing!

How do I place an order?

  • Simply choose your kit tier, select your size, and complete checkout. The mystery does the rest.

Can I choose the team or league I receive?

  • No — that's the mystery! However, we know some rivalries run deep. You can leave a note in your cart before checkout to list one specific team you absolutely do not want to receive. We'll make sure the "Backroom Staff" keeps them out of your box.

What sizes are available?

  • We offer a full range of sizes for Men, Women, and Kids. Please refer to our size guide on each product page to find your best fit.

Can I order for someone else as a gift?

  • Absolutely — Mystery Kits make brilliant gifts for any football fan. You can ship directly to the recipient's address at checkout.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

  • Not currently, but the mystery unboxing experience is a gift in itself!

 

THE BOARDROOM (SUBSCRIPTIONS)

How does The Boardroom subscription work?

  • The Boardroom is our mystery kit subscription service. Each cycle, a new authentic kit is selected by our Backroom Staff and dispatched to your door. It's the easiest way to build your collection — with a 10% saving on every kit compared to single purchases.

What subscription frequencies are available?

  • We offer three flexible cycles — monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly. All three are available across our Men's, Women's, and Youth Academy divisions.

Is there an option to pay upfront?

  • Yes — our Annual Boardroom membership lets you pay for a full year upfront at a 15% discount. You still choose your preferred dispatch frequency (monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly), so you control how often your kits arrive while locking in the best possible rate.

When will I be billed?

  • For rolling subscriptions, payment is taken automatically at the start of each cycle before your kit is dispatched. For annual memberships, payment is taken in full at signup and renews after 12 months.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

  • Rolling subscriptions can be paused or cancelled anytime from your account dashboard — no minimum terms, no cancellation fees. Changes must be made before your next billing date to take effect that cycle. Annual memberships are non-refundable once the year begins.

Will I receive the same kit twice?

  • We do our best to ensure variety across your subscription. While we can't guarantee it, our Backroom Staff tracks your dispatch history to keep the mystery fresh.

Can I use the team exclusion note with a subscription?

  • Yes — leave a note when you first subscribe. We'll keep it on file for every dispatch.

Can I upgrade from a rolling subscription to an annual membership?

  • Absolutely. If you're already on a rolling Boardroom subscription and want to lock in the 15% annual rate, simply cancel your current subscription before your next billing date and sign up for the Annual Boardroom membership. Your team exclusion note and dispatch preferences will carry over — just mention it at signup.

Where do you ship to?

  • We ship nationwide across Ireland, across the EU, to the UK, and internationally.

How long does delivery take?

  • We offer two delivery speeds:
    • Standard Shipping
      • Ireland & Northern Ireland: 1–3 business days
      • UK & Europe: 3–7 business days
      • Canada, USA & Oceania: 10–20 business days
    • Express Shipping
      • Ireland & Northern Ireland: Next business day
      • UK & Europe: 2–4 business days
      • Canada, USA & Oceania: 4–7 business days
  • All orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of purchase.

Can I upgrade to Express Shipping?

  • Yes! Express options are available at checkout for most regions. Pricing is calculated based on your order, size and location.

How much does shipping cost?

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Will I receive a tracking number?

  • Standard Shipping does not include parcel tracking. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is on its way.
  • If you'd like to track your delivery in real time, simply select Express Shipping at checkout — all express orders are fully tracked from dispatch to your door.

What happens if my order is delayed?

  • If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe, contact us at info@authenticmysterykits.com and we'll investigate with our shipping partner.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

  • We recommend using a standard delivery address where possible. Contact us if you have specific delivery requirements.

 

DUTIES & TAXES

Will I be charged customs?

  • EU Customers: No. Because we ship directly from Ireland, all orders within the EU are treated as domestic shipments. There are no customs fees, import duties, or border delays for EU customers.
  • UK & International Customers: Orders may be subject to local VAT and customs duties. These are the responsibility of the customer.

Is VAT included in the price?

  • For EU customers, VAT is included in the displayed price. For non-EU customers, local taxes may apply upon import.

I was charged unexpected customs fees — can you help?

  • Unfortunately, customs charges are outside our control and are levied by your local authorities. We recommend checking your country's import thresholds before ordering.

What tier levels do you offer?

  • We offer three ways to build your collection:
    • The Club Structure: Single kit acquisitions for a one-off hit.
    • The Boardroom: Our subscription service for long-term value and up to 15% savings.
    • The Kit Portfolio: Bulk bundles (2, 3, or 5 kits) for those looking to diversify assets quickly with up to 15% savings.
  • Each is available in Men's, Women's, and Youth Academy divisions.

Are the kits authentic or replicas?

  • All kits are 100% authentic — genuine licensed products from real clubs and national teams.

What leagues and teams could I receive?

  • Kits can come from a wide range of leagues and nations worldwide — from the Premier League and La Liga to international sides and emerging leagues. The wider the net, the bigger the mystery!

Could I receive a kit I already own?

  • It's possible, though we do our best to offer a diverse range. Unfortunately we can't guarantee you won't receive a duplicate if you've ordered multiple times.

What condition are the kits in?

  • All kits are brand new, unworn, and in original packaging unless otherwise stated.

Can I request a specific size after ordering?

  • No — size must be selected at checkout. Please double-check our size guide before ordering.

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

What is your return policy?

  • You have 30 days from receiving your kit to request a return. Items must be unworn, with original tags, and in original packaging.

Can I return a kit because I don't like the team I received?

  • No — returns based on the team, league, or colours received are not accepted. This is the Mystery Clause and is part of the experience.

How do I start a return?

  • Email us at info@authenticmysterykits.com before sending anything back. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Who pays for return shipping?

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

My kit arrived damaged — what do I do?

  • Contact us immediately at info@authenticmysterykits.com with photos of the damage. We'll carry out a VAR Review and make it right.

How long do refunds take?

  • Once your return is inspected and approved, refunds are processed within 10 business days to your original payment method.

Can I exchange my kit for a different size?

  • Yes — return your kit following our returns process, and place a new order for the correct size once the return is accepted.

Do I need an account to order?

  • No — you can check out as a guest. However, creating an account makes it easier to track orders and manage returns.

What payment methods do you accept?

  • We accept all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna.

Is my payment information secure?

  • Yes — all payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and our encrypted partners. We never store your card details, and you are fully protected by PayPal Buyer Protection where applicable.

Can I use a discount code?

  • Yes — enter your discount code at checkout. Only one code can be applied per order.
